What makes IPT different from many other petroleum consulting firms? Our people.

The majority of IPT's highly skilled managers, specialists, supervisors, senior engineers and engineers are employees of IPT, not independent contractors. Working together day in and day out allows us to develop team-oriented, single-minded approaches that consistently deliver results for our clients. We are not a bunch of individuals doing what we want, but a team that works hand-in-hand with our clients and with the full support of IPT resources on a 24 hour basis.

IPT's status as an independent firm puts experts in your corner who are motivated to provide unparalleled service and an unbiased assessment of all aspects of your operations. When you work with IPT, we are your partner and will put our full complement of resources to work for you to reduce costs and significantly enhance performance. We do not sell any products or have a bias to any service that would cause us to recommend anything that would not either reduce a client's cost or improve their production.

Our Credentials

Technical Training

We never stop improving.

Even though our staff already possesses thousands of years of combined experience from positions at numerous oil and gas operations, drilling companies and hydraulic fracturing service companies, IPT makes a substantial investment of time and money annually in the continued education and training of our technical staff.

Over the years, we have learned that experienced field supervision combined with the best office engineering and planning are the keys to successful on-site operations. This is why we augment our internal training school with actual field implementation and extensive on-site training, specifically on the fracture stimulation specialist side.

Our stimulation specialists use FracproPT to design, interpret diagnostics and evaluate every stimulation treatment and our specialists are taught many advanced methods for using the software. IPT training is focused on optimizing well response and not simply to put a fracture treatment in the ground. Every recommendation from an IPT specialist is backed by years of reservoir analysis and engineering.
